Michael Pace
Director. Joined his Father in the family business on leaving school and worked hard to learn about all aspects of running your own business. Purchased the business from his father on his retirement.

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been working at Pace Interiors for many years and concentrate mainly on driving our Sales and Marketing Activities.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy the challenge and diversity of my role, working with customers & a wide range of suppliers over the years many of whom have now become friends.

Angela Pace
Director Joined Michael in running the business after it was purchased from his Father.

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been working at Pace Interiors for many years managing the finance and logistics areas.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy the flexibility of my role, working with loyal, hardworking staff and balancing the books!!

Pauline Forde
Commercial Manager. Trained in the UK in Fashion & Design, worked as a buyer for Jaeger and Selfridges then moved in to Design and Product Development working in the Jeans Industry. Moved to Australia to work in the Development of Country Road Homewares.

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been working here for 11 years and mainly deal with our architectural, building and interior decorating clients as well as custom built homes.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy the diversity of my role, interacting with a cross section of clients offering an efficient and personal service and solving a multitude of problems for customers.

Sue Plummer
Showroom Co-ordinator

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have only recently joined Pace Interiors. My role involves working with clients on fabric selections for window coverings & furniture, booking appointments, supporting our sales consultants and general administration.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I thoroughly enjoy working in a beautiful showroom with a wide cross section of customers and suppliers.

Trish
Logistics and Accounts Manager

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been working at Pace Interiors for 7 years and my main duties are to ensure that the Logistics department is running efficiently, effectively and is customer focused. I oversee the accounts receivable department and take care of all of the accounts payable. I also process Payroll and HR/Administration issues.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy the new challenges that arise on a daily basis and I enjoy working with my great team to meet these challenges. These challenges typically centre around delivering a “quality” experience for our customers in both customer service and product delivery.

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been employed by Pace Interiors for 12 years, my main duties are customer service and ensuring that the customers goods are fitted in a timely manner.

What do you enjoy about your role:
Customer satisfaction.

Lou
Blind & Track Supervisor.

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
20 years. Main duties involve making and repairing blinds and tracks, checking deliveries of tracks and components to ensure correct items are received in a timely manner.

What do you enjoy about your role:
Making quality products and knowing that they won’t come back with problems.

Cheree Evans
Interior Designer - Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I recently joined Pace Interiors. My role involves visiting clients to assist with the selection and measuring of window coverings from curtains and blinds to shutters and awnings. I am also able to assist with interior design advice, such as selecting wallpapers and furniture.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy working with the client in a collaborative approach to create a design that incorporates my clients' individual style and also considers their practical requirements. It is very rewarding to see the transformation once the product/design has been implemented.

Halena Zielinski
Machinist

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
14 years, with main duties sewing curtains, pressing and quality control.

What do you enjoy about your role:
We are always working on new styles and fabrics which I enjoy and I also like the great team I work with.

Fabric Cutter/ Machinist

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been with Pace Interiors for 12 months. My main duties involve workflow management, cutting and measuring fabric and sewing curtains. Before starting work with Pace Interiors, I worked in the clothing manufacturing industry for over 22 years.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy working within a team environment and working on new designs.

Machinist

How long have you been at Pace Interiors and what are your main duties:
I have been working with Pace Interiors for 6 months. I perform duties associated with curtain making and soft furnishings such as machining and pressing. I have worked in the curtains & blinds industry for over 30 years.

What do you enjoy about your role:
I enjoy working in a team and producing quality products.
